RapidIdentity - A Secure Mobile Authentication App
RapidIdentity, developed by Identity Automation LP, is a mobile application that provides an additional layer of security while logging into work and personal applications. This free app is available on iOS devices only. RapidIdentity Mobile Client uses Push and Time-based One-Time Passcode (TOTP) authentication methods instead of passwords or as a second verification step during the login process to RapidIdentity and RapidIdentity SSO enabled applications. It is designed to work offline and does not require any cellular or wifi connection.
Moreover, RapidIdentity Mobile Client generates TOTP passcodes for RapidIdentity and other personal SaaS services and web applications that support mobile-generated passcodes. This will enable users to consolidate other authentication tools into a single app. The RapidIdentity Mobile App also enables users to lock specific passcodes behind a PIN or phone Touch ID, ensuring the codes are not left exposed even if the phone is taken.
It is important to note that for RapidIdentity Mobile Client to facilitate authentication to the environment, RapidIdentity Server versionor later is required to ensure the mobile device can receive notifications from RapidIdentity Server. With RapidIdentity, users can enhance their security and protect their sensitive information from potential threats.
